NISGTC Developed Curriculum
NISGTC was a 4-year grant focusing on Networking, Cybersecurity, Programming, and Geospatial Technologies. Curriculum created under NISGTC is open-source and may be used by others. CTC’s role is to link others to the curriculum. Each full course uploaded onto SkillsCommons are classified with three classifications below.

Standard Occupation Classification: (SOC code) - used by Federal statistical agencies to classify workers into occupational categories for the purpose of collecting, calculating, or disseminating data.
15-0000: Computer and Mathematical Occupations
49-2022: Telecommunications Equipment Installers and Repairers, Except Line Installers

Classification of Instructional Program (CIP Code) - provides a taxonomic scheme that supports the accurate tracking and reporting of fields of study and program completions activity.
